Introduction

In 2014, when seven families who were residing in the Greater Toronto Area came together to celebrate Losar, the conception of the organization that will preserve and promote the Hyolmo culture came to be. Before the formal creation of the organization, the members of the group organized various cultural events. Finally on the 29th of July, 2019 the Hyolmo Society of Canada was formed and registered as a non profit organization in Canada.
